Destacada participación peruana en Concours Mondial de Bruxelles
En la categoría vinos el Perú logró una 
Gran Medalla de Oro con el Selección Especial Petit Verdot de Tacama. Éste es el premio mayor y se otorga solo a los vinos que han destacado de manera muy especial frente a sus pares. Seguramente un gran estímulo para la bodega iqueña. Otros vinos de reconocida calidad que también lograron este reconocimiento fueron el Casa Real Reserva Especial Cabernet Sauvignon de Santa Rita (Maipo), Cordillera Syrah de Miguel Torres 2010 (Maule) y Carmen Winemakers Reserve Carménère 2009 (Colchagua).
En la categoría de Espirituosos también el Perú se llevó el más alto galardón. La única Gran Medalla de Oro la obtuvo Tacama con su Demonio de los Andes Acholado. Lograron Medallas de Oro los Piscos Viejo Tonel Italia y De Carral Mosto Verde de Quebranta.
El jurado, compuesto por expertos internacionales y locales, incluyó a Carlos de Piérola, director de Barricas.com. También llegaron jueces de Europa y Latinoamérica que se unieron a enólogos y periodistas especializados de Chile.
